On Saturday, March 15, former Maranatha High School standout Cider Canon’s current college team, the Davidson Wildcats, lost 13-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UMass Minutemen.
The game took place at Wilson Field. This was their second matchup against the Minutemen this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Wilson Field against UMass Minutemen.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
