Tuition for out-of-state students at Pasadena City College rose by 28% in the 2022-23 school year, based on the most recent disclosure, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

California residents paid $1,172 to attend the two-year public college in both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.

Non-resident students faced tuition costs 716.7% higher than those for residents in 2022-23, amounting to $9,572. This represents a 28.7% increase from $7,436 in the previous 2021-22 academic year.

Approximately 95% of the undergraduate student body at Pasadena City College are California residents, while about 5% are international students.

Data indicates that 78% of full-time undergraduates who began their studies at Pasadena City College in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. In total, 2,088 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $14.6 million, and nine students took out loans exceeding $52,624.

Across the entire undergraduate population, 13,363 students received grants or scholarships totaling $64.3 million. Additionally, 139 students borrowed $948,698 in federal student loans.
