On Thursday, March 20, former Crescenta Valley High School standout Stephanie Wichman’s current college team, the Ursinus Bears, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Alvernia Golden Wolves.
The game took place at Angelica Park. This was their second matchup against the Golden Wolves this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at Eleanor Snell Softball Field against Immaculata Mighty Macs.

The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
