On Friday, March 28, former La Salle High School standout David Mysza’s current college team, the UCLA Bruins, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Purdue Boilermakers.
The game took place at Alexander Field. This was their first matchup against the Boilermakers this season.
The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Alexander Field against Purdue Boilermakers.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
