On Friday, March 21, former Maranatha High School standout Eli Paton’s current college team, the Grand Canyon Antelopes, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Abilene Christian Wildcats.
The game took place at Crutcher Scott Field. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.
The Antelopes’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 3:05 p.m. at Crutcher Scott Field against Abilene Christian Wildcats.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
