On Friday, March 7, former St. Francis High School standout Doyle Kane’s current college team, the Portland Pilots, lost 20-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
The game took place at Baum-Walker Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Razorbacks this season.
The Pilots’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Baum-Walker Stadium against Arkansas Razorbacks.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
