On Saturday, Feb. 15, former La Canada High School standout Adam Geller’s current college team, the Emory Eagles, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the CMS Stags.
The game took place at Chappell Park. This was their third matchup against the Stags this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3:30 p.m. at Neal Posey Field against Wheaton Thunder.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
