On Saturday, Feb. 22, former St. Francis High School standout Lucas Favretto’s current college team, the Caltech Beavers, lost 18-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen.
The game took place at North Field. This was their second matchup against the Kingsmen this season.
The Beavers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2:30 p.m. at North Field against Cal Lutheran Kingsmen.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
