On Saturday, March 15, former Maranatha High School standout AJ Campana’s current college team, the Chapman Panthers, won 12-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Whittier Poets.
The game took place at W.O. Hart Park. This was their third matchup against the Poets this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 3 p.m. at W.O. Hart Park against Tufts Jumbos.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
