On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former Maranatha High School standout Cider Canon’s current college team, the Davidson Wildcats, lost 13-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wofford Terriers.
The game took place at Wilson Field. This was their first matchup against the Terriers this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Wilson Field against Lafayette Leopards.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
