On Saturday, April 26, former Maranatha High School standout Michael Ebner’s current college team, the USC Trojans, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.
The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at Siebert Field against Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
