On Sunday, April 27, former Maranatha High School standout Michael Ebner’s current college team, the USC Trojans, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The game took place at Siebert Field. This was their third matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.
The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29 at 6 p.m. at Robert J. Hiegert Field against Cal State Northridge Matadors.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
