On Thursday, April 10, former Maranatha High School standout Will Allen’s current college team, the Azusa Pacific Cougars, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds.
The game took place at Dan Martin Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Sunbirds this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at Dan Martin Stadium against Fresno Pacific Sunbirds.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
