On Saturday, March 29, former Maranatha High School standout Michael Ebner’s current college team, the USC Trojans, won 13-12 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Indiana Hoosiers.
The game took place at Bart Kaufman Field. This was their third matchup against the Hoosiers this season.
The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at Dedeaux Field against San Diego State Aztecs.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
