On Friday, March 7, former Maranatha High School standout Cider Canon’s current college team, the Davidson Wildcats, lost 7-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Clemson Tigers.
The game took place at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium against Clemson Tigers.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
