On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Maranatha High School standout Cider Canon’s current college team, the Davidson Wildcats, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Bucknell Bison.
The game took place at Wilson Field. This was their second matchup against the Bison this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Wilson Field against Bucknell Bison.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
