On Saturday, March 29, former St. Francis High School standout Lucas Favretto’s current college team, the Caltech Beavers, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Redlands Bulldogs.
The game took place at The Yard. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Beavers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Ben Hines Field against La Verne Leopards.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
