On Sunday, March 2, former La Canada High School standout Adam Geller’s current college team, the Emory Eagles, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Middlebury Panthers.
The game took place at Chappell Park. This was their third matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at Chappell Park against Covenant Scots.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
