On Tuesday, April 8, former Crescenta Valley High School standout Stephanie Wichman’s current college team, the Ursinus Bears, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Swarthmore Garnet.
The game took place at Eleanor Snell Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Garnet this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1 p.m. at Dickinson Park against Dickinson Red Devils.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
