On Tuesday, April 8, former Maranatha High School standout Angelo Aleman’s current college team, the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northwestern State Demons.
The game took place at Brown–Stroud Field. This was their second matchup against the Demons this season.
The Warhawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Lou St. Amant Field against Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
