On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Crescenta Valley High School standout Kaitlyn Dunford’s current college team, the North Dakota State Bison, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Nancy Almaraz Field. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Bison’s next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium against Minnesota Golden Gophers.
