On Sunday, March 9, former St. Francis High School standout Kyle Dyer’s current college team, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, lost 23-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters.
The game took place at Pioneer Baseball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Otters this season.
The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Nettleton Stadium against Chico State Wildcats.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
