On Saturday, March 29, former Crescenta Valley High School standout Stephanie Wichman’s current college team, the Ursinus Bears, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the McDaniel Green Terror.
The game took place at McDaniel Softball Park. This was their second matchup against the Green Terror this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Eleanor Snell Softball Field against Gettysburg Bullets.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
