On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Polytechnic High School standout Henry McDonald’s current college team, the Cal Poly Mustangs, lost 16-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UCLA Bruins.
The game took place at Jackie Robinson Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bruins this season.
The Mustangs’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. at George C. Page Stadium against Loyola Marymount Lions.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
