On Sunday, March 16, former La Canada High School standout Adam Geller’s current college team, the Emory Eagles, won 18-11 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Piedmont Lions.
The game took place at Chappell Park. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.
The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Chappell Park against LaGrange Panthers.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
