On Tuesday, April 1, former Maranatha High School standout Cider Canon’s current college team, the Davidson Wildcats, lost 12-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Duke Blue Devils.
The game took place at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. This was their first matchup against the Blue Devils this season.
The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Houlihan Park against Fordham Rams.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
