On Tuesday, April 8, former Crescenta Valley High School standout JD Schaffer’s current college team, the Dubuque Spartans, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Loras Duhawks.

The game took place at Dan W. Runkle Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Duhawks this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Harms Stadium at Hertel Field against Wartburg Knights.
