On Tuesday, March 25, former Maranatha High School standout AJ Beltre’s current college team, the San Diego Toreros, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Cal State Fullerton Titans.
The game took place at Goodwin Field. This was their first matchup against the Titans this season.
The Toreros’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Fowler Park against Pepperdine Waves.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
