On Tuesday, March 25, former Maranatha High School standout Eli Paton’s current college team, the Grand Canyon Antelopes, lost 12-10 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the New Mexico Lobos.
The game took place at Santa Ana Star Field. This was their first matchup against the Lobos this season.
The Antelopes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Brazell Field at GCU Ballpark against Seattle Redhawks.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
