On Tuesday, March 25, former Maranatha High School standout Thomas Lieb’s current college team, the Oklahoma State Cowboys, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wichita State Shockers.
The game took place at O’Brate Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Shockers this season.
The Cowboys’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Hoglund Ballpark against Kansas Jayhawks.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
The upcoming week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature these former Verdugos area high school athletes.
